All artwork should be supplied on a disk, flash drive, or via email. If the artwork supplied requires typesetting, changes, touch-ups, or does not meet the required specifications, we reserve the right to modify the artwork and charge accordingly. Major artwork modifications will be billed at $45.00 per hour.
Professional black and white mechanical drawings on high gloss paper make good camera-ready art. The following examples areNOT considered camera-ready art and will require major art modifications: Photocopies, pen and/or pencil drawings, Yellow Page or newspaper ads, business cards, letterheads, and raised thermographic printing. Although we can convert these, the quality is generally poor. Please enclose your artwork in an envelope. Graphic Expressions reserves the right to reject any artwork not deemed acceptable. All artwork is kept on file.
Graphic Expressions accepts artwork created in most professional graphic applications. For multicolor Logos, vector art created in CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator is preferred. CorelDRAW files should be saved with all text converted to curves. For single color imprints, scans of camera-ready-art are acceptable as long as the original scanned resolution is at least 500 pixels per inch at actual imprint size. For the photo image process, artwork can be supplied in any of the formats above as well as scanned graphic formats like EPS, PCX, BMP, TIFF, and JPG. If the original scanned resolution of the art at actual imprint size is at least 300 pixels per inch.
Email graphics to: email@example.com (Be sure to reference the Job Name and Job Number)
Proofs will be provided prior to production. If your project contains embroidery an optional stitched sample can also be provided at no charge if the art was digitized by Graphic Expressions.
For customer supplied disks the only format currently accepted is Tajima. Basic changes to layouts can be made (i.e. delete or add a section, reorder sections and re-size up to 10%). Re-sizing past 10% will require a new disk as will increasing or decrease in the thickness of specific sections. Please note that customer supplied disks created for specific colors or fabrics may not be compatible with our products (i.e., previously done on hats may not sew well on polos). In cases such as these, a new disk may be needed. We can usually make these edits for less than the cost of a newly digitized logo.
